1 Peter 1:22 - 25

22”Since you have purified your souls in obedience to the truth for a sincere love of the brothers and sisters, fervently love one another from the heart, 23for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 24For,

“ALL FLESH IS LIKE GRASS,

AND ALL ITS GLORY IS LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS.

THE GRASS WITHERS,

AND THE FLOWER FALLS OFF,

25BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER.”

And this is the word which was preached to you.”

17Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. 18In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.

How I achieved the above image of the daffodil against the black backdrop is by shifting my position to place the daffodil in front of a tree.
